Shocks Were Backordered - Good Thing Too, Because I GOT AN EVOOOOOOOOO

Thats right. I sold the SS for an incredible profit like I predicted when I bought it. So, I put the cash in the bank, and financed a used 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII, Lightning Yellow, 41k miles, with 2 sets of rims and tires, $19,000!!!! A STEAL! Its YELLOW! It STILL has 2 years and 20,000 miles left on the powertrain warranty. It doesn't have the ACD that the Evo IX's do, though i'll pop a LSD in the front and call it a day.

WHAT a change! I just didn't want to modify another Camaro - I wanted something new. This was it!! I didn't have to tap into my house savings fund, either. I'm SO PUMPED. I've been driving this thing WAAAY too fast. Did I mention its Yellow?

After changing all of the fluids, especially the transmission fluid (used GM Synchromesh to help the wonderful (note: sarcasm) Mitsubishi synchros), she seems to be in great shape. I hope it holds up! My 1st autocross event with this car is this August 12th with CART (www.cartct.com)
I hope I can keep pace with the Evo IX's Active Center Differentials!

I took some cash from the sale of the SS and bought a fresh set of Kumho V710s. This should be fun.... !!!!
